My name is Shonna Joiner; I am a child of God and a Christian Motivational Speaker. I currently reside in Eudora, Arkansas. After finishing Eudora High School in 1987, I attended college at the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 1991. I lived in Las Vegas for 27 years before moving back home to Eudora, Arkansas, in 2018. My professional experience is as follows: Child Development Specialist and Senior Child Protective Service Investigator for Clark County Nevada until retirement in 2012.

While living in Las Vegas, Jesus put on my heart to start ministering to women. So, I asked God to help me encourage and motivate women, but to do this, I needed Jesus to equip me with His word. Then, I started thinking, Shonna, You are not a preacher, nor an evangelist or missionary. Then Jesus spoke and said that I use my vessel to do the work of my Father through His people. Yes, I am saved; by the blood of Jesus. After deepening my relationship with Jesus, I realized I wanted to motivate women to become better Christians, better Believers In Christ.

One of my passions is teaching women how to be mindful of their personal, biblical and spiritual etiquette at all times. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” This scripture is challenging us to be ambassadors for Christ representing his light and love wherever we go. Our goal is to live a life that honors the Lord in every way, in our homes, on our jobs, with our friends and at church.

I teach women that because we call ourselves followers of Christ, the way we behave and the reputations we carry can not only affect the way others view us but the way others see HIM.
